Day 1 Windhoek-Gobabis – San Activity: Your incredible eastern cultural journey begins with a friendly pickup in Windhoek from 05h00. The drive takes approximately 4 hours, with a fuel stop in the charming town of Gobabis, we than continue to a private we will meet the San people.

Embark on an Authentic San Hunting Adventure from 09h00 – 12h00: On arrival we step into the extraordinary world of the San hunters and immerse yourself in their vibrant traditions. This unique experience invites you to follow in the footsteps of the San, where you’ll learn their ancient tracking and hunting techniques. If luck is on your side and you have a successful hunt, any meat gathered will be graciously returned to the San community, contributing to their sustenance.

Discover the Ancient San Skills firsthand as you engage with the San people themselves. Set against the backdrop of a privately owned farm, this experience not only deepens your understanding of the bush but also supports the upliftment of Namibia’s San communities. Uncover the secrets of survival, explore traditional medicine, and witness the ancient lifestyles that have flourished for millennia. Experience captivating songs and dances, hear enchanting stories, and sleep beneath a canopy of stars, truly becoming part of their world.

But the adventure isn’t over yet! Your last stop will be an exhilarating visit to the Batswana community, renowned for their vibrant traditional dancers. This community, made up mostly of talented yet unemployed youth, offers a unique opportunity to support and uplift them while being mesmerized by their spirited performances. You’ll find yourself tapping your feet to their rhythmic dances, feeling the pulse of their culture.

By approximately 16h00, you’ll arrive back in Gobabis at Uakii Wilderness Bushcamp for you overnight and bush dinner around the camp fire.

Day 2: Explore Nature @ Elephant & Rhino

This will be an early start, getting into the elephant & rhino area as early as possible this morning is our aim, and that means a pre-dawn start and breakfast only after the game drive. A game drive usually last around 3,5 hours

From the terrace you can see directly onto the two adjacent waterholes, where kudus, oryx antelopes, waterbucks, impalas and many other antelopes and Experience the unique languages that incorporate many clicks; it’s a wonderful learning opportunity.

By approximately 12h00, you’ll arrive back in Windhoek, or if you prefer, you’ll be dropped off at the International Airport.
